Challenge FeatureIf you need to undertake repetitive mandatory training, the unique Challenge function can be used.Challenge is simple in concept, brilliant in execution. A nurse has to complete four mandatory annual refreshers programs – Each of these programs is available with LearnPRN. This training would normally be 16 hours in the classroom, and also require workplace replacement staff on a ward, for a further 16 hours. Therefore this traditional training costs the organisation 32 hours of productive time, per person.
If each assessment took 15 minutes, then the student would be out of the workplace for approximately 1 hour instead of 16 hours, saving 15 hours. In addition a further 16 hours are saved as there is no longer a backfill requirement. How is this achieved?
1. The student is enrolled in each of the 4 units and the Challenge function is invoked for each of these. 2. The student commences their training from any web connected computer in the first unit by undertaking an assessment comprising a compilation of all that units assessment questions. 3. If this assessment is passed, the student then moves onto the assessment for the second unit. 4. If this is passed satisfactorily the student moves to the third unit assessment and so on. 5. If any assessment is failed, the student must complete that unit in its entirety, until passed. 6. Once the failed unit is passed the student then re-enters the Challenge process for the remainder of the uncompleted units. Total Training Cost Saving’s using CHALLENGE are31 hours or 96%.....
