Who We AreAfter 20 years of working in the health care industry both as nurses and educators, founders of LearnPRN, Kaye Knight and Robin Tchernomoroff, realised there was a need for hospitals to have better access to education in the workplace. This was especially true for regional hospitals where there were limited numbers of educators willing to visit on site for training. So, LearnPRN was founded, with the main focus initially to write eLearning programs to help solve the education deficit in the industry. Our core business quickly broadened as the demand for face-to-face training grew, not only in Victoria, but also throughout regional Australia. What has since resulted is ‘integrated learning’ whereby LearnPRN help hospitals analyse their nurse training and education needs, and provide face-to-face training as well as on-going eLearning support. eLearning has increased in popularity over the last four years, as clients discover the unique aspects of LearnPRN programs that assist in keeping costs down per attendee, with no large up front fees for both set and tailored programs, as well as providing competency and reporting mechanisms that meet the EQuIP 4 compliance required by Auditors for accreditation. Robin’s strengths have been developed through her clinical experience in the areas of critical care, emergency care and paediatrics and managing the content of educational programs. She is complemented by Kaye who has extensive experience in general nursing, staff development, education and instructional design, and who is the human resource & managerial expert of the team. We have built a successful business team at LearnPRN with support personnel in the key areas of Clinical, Administration, Finance, Business Management, Multimedia, Web Design, eLearning advice, Marketing and Education Specialists. Programs include courses in the areas of mental health care, dementia and midwifery as requests flow in from regional hospitals for these key disciplines. LearnPRN can provide nurse education solutions for most specialised areas. We offer free initial consultations without obligation to assess each hospital’s needs. It only takes a phone call or email to get started. |
