We asked some of our clients to provide feedback on their experience in dealing with LearnPRN. Here is what they had to say…

Bendigo Radiology

Megan Egan

Megan Egan

Liaison and Quality Manager

Bendigo Radiology has engaged the services of LearnPRN for the past 6 years. We require both mandatory training updates and customer service training for our practice. Not only does LearnPRN provide us with all the information we require, but their talented presenters ensured that information is delivered in a fresh and entertaining way making sure our staff stay focussed and interested. All contact with the staff at Learn PRN show that their staff are perceptive, informed and willing to help. We will continue to employ the services of LearnPRN in the future, and I recommend LearnPRN to other health facilities whenever I can.

East Wimmera Health Service

Cheryl Watson

Cheryl Watson

Director Clinical and Community Health, East Wimmera Health Service

East Wimmera Health Service has worked with LearnPRN for over 10 years. Initially they provided specific clinical education sessions, but since 2005, they provide all our Health Service educator needs. Each year, LearnPRN and our senior managers develop an education program for the year and programs are rotated around our five campuses. Robin, Kaye and the staff provide a unique service delivery – they are responsive to Health Service needs, and work with all levels of staff within the organisation to gain an understanding of the issues, and then develop a solution with us that meets the needs of our organisation. They provide education to all levels of staff in the organisation and tailor the education to these different staff groups. With the introduction of the National Standards, as an example, they have provided Person Centred training to all staff, from our executive down. These sessions have been tailored to the staff present at the session. Following one of the sessions, some of the staff comments were: ‘person centred care is a bit more than the person being at the centre of care’, ‘questions what I do/say that opens out debate about person centred care’, it gives understanding of why new things have been implemented’, ‘talk about person centred care and try to get others to also understand it and practice it’. This highlights how LearnPRN provide education that meets the needs of the organisation, as well as the staff we employ. LearnPRN provide a wide range of education programs – face to face and eLearning – that are evidence based. Staff can do any of the eLearning programs from home, or when they have time during their day at work. Staff enjoy doing the on line programs, and we have worked with LearnPRN to develop specific programs for our staff e.g. quality and risk management, annual declaration, emergency management. These are tailored to specific requirements within EWHS. Staff and our senior managers value our relationship with LearnPRN. They are very approachable and provide us with an effective resource for staff education. I would recommend LearnPRN to you.

On behalf of Rural Northwest Health I would like to publicly thank and endorse LearnPRN for their passion, expertise, support and leadership. The team supports our health service with a range of exciting, individually developed education programs. The education sessions assist the team to be competent and confident in delivering high quality, safe and appropriate clinical services to our community members. The sessions are professional, relevant, evidence based, linked to our strategic directions and fun. All the team look forward to attending Essential training and this of course supports staff to learn and retain the information. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the team at LearnPRN support Rural Northwest Health across a range of quality activities including improving our systems for the National Standards and supporting the Graduate Nurse program. Rural Northwest Health looks forward to an ongoing relationship for many years to come.

West Gippsland Healthcare Group

Jeanette Dyason

Jeanette Dyason

Chairperson South & West Gippsland CN&ME Group, Education Manager West Gippsland Healthcare Group

LearnPRN has been providing us with high quality educational workshops for over 4 years. They have provided programs for us at an organisational and sub-regional hospitals cluster level. We consistently receive feedback comments from our staff such as “best presenter I’ve ever heard”, “really easy to listen to and understand” “really know the content they are talking about” “they teach from and use examples of their own experiences” The reason we keep going back to LearnPRN is that they are always willing to tailor the program to what our particular needs and requests are. They recognise the differing needs of nurses who work in smaller rural and sub-regional healthcare organisations, as well as those in larger facilities.

Loddon Mallee Regional Palliative Care Consortium

Robert Maio

Robert Maio

Project Manager, Loddon Mallee Regional Palliative Care Consortium

LearnPRN has been providing telephone triage training for our Consortium members since 2008. During this time the evaluation feedback received from participants has been consistently favourable. Robin’s teaching is highly informative and engaging. She delivers the material in a natural conversational style, weaving story-telling and humour in entertaining and memorable ways. LearnPRN’s approach is fresh and creative, if not a little quirky, adding to its charm. I have no hesitation in recommending LearnPRN, and Robin Tchernomoroff as a capable and competent instructor in this field.
